Council Tax reduction scheme consultation 2023

We currently provides a Council Tax Reduction scheme to help those on a low-income. The scheme will reduce the council tax cost for a household by up to 100%. Despite a reduction in government funding, the Council has retained the discount to the same as it was when first implemented in 2013.

Implementation of a Clean Air Zone in Arlen Hill

The Government has implemented limits for pollution which we must abide to by law. To tackle this, we are introducing a Clean Air Zone in an attempt to tackle high levels of pollution and make Arlen Hill a cleaner and safer place to live. We are proposing two options of clean air zones which we would like your feedback on.

Dog control Public Spaces Protection Order

Oxford City Council's Cabinet met on the 13th and approved the Order. Council Officers, the police and other approved persons can enforce the Order.
