Dog control Public Space Protection Order (PSPO)

Overview

Local Authorities were granted the power to introduce a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

PSPOs were created in order to manage nuisances in defined public spaces, where the behaviour is having a negative impact on the quality of life for those in that public space.
